22 CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Minutes <br />February 7, 1978 <br />Warrants <br />16259, 16261 through 16548 <br />13663 through 13862 <br />February 16, 1978 Inclusive <br />Sanitary Sewer Easement <br />John M. & Lily S. Coelho. Approve and authorize recording. <br />Pedestrian Crossings <br />Report on pedestrian crossing at intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue <br />and Johnston Street. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve <br />the Consent Calendar. Vote was unanimous. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Mayor Beltran read in full a Proclamation honoring Save Your Vision Week, <br />March 5 through 11, 1978, and advised that the Proclamation will be for- <br />warded to Dr. Renald J. Anelle. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Appeals <br />P. C. Res. No. 859 <br />Mayor Beltran declared the continuance of the Public Hearing, advising the <br />Planning Commission is scheduled to discuss this matter at the next regular <br />meeting, to be held February 28, 1978, therefore, if there are no objec- <br />tions from the Council Members, he would order that this Public Hearing <br />be continued to the next regular Council Meeting, Tuesday, March 7, 1978. <br />Street Vacations <br />Mayor Beltran declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that <br />no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Services Director Earl Young reported that with the adoption of <br />Resolution No. 3761, a resolution of intention setting forth this evening <br />as the time and place for hearing objections, if any, to the proposed <br />abandonment of La Cadena Drive Outer Highway West. <br />Mr. Young advised that all legal requirements have been complied with, and <br />if the City Council desires to continue with the abandonment of the subject <br />street, it would now be in order to adopt Resolution No. 3772. <br />Mayor Beltran asked if anyone had any questions or comments on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to terminate <br />the Public Hearing. Vote was unanimous. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve <br />Resolution No. 3772. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3772 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF <br />LA CADENA DRIVE OUTER HIGHWAY WEST. <br />Street Vacations <br />Mayor Beltran announced that because he does not believe in informal hear- <br />ings, he would recommend the matter to consider the vacation of a portion <br />of 10th Street be referred to the Planning Commission for study and report. <br />Condemnations <br />Expense Report <br />Mayor Beltran declared the Public Hearing open. <br />FEO. 2 11978 <br />
