Moved by Councilman Gonzales, seconded by Councilman Hayes, authorizing <br />the Mayor to notify the California Council on Criminal Justice, Office of <br />Criminal Justice Planning, that the proposed Equal -Employment Opportunity <br />Standard should not be adopted. Motion carried, with Councilwoman Cisneros <br />voting NO. <br />Bids <br />Mr. Calabrese referred to a memorandum dated February 17, 1978, from the <br />General Services Supervisor, recommending that bids be awarded to Fischer <br />Office Interiors and Conlar Associates, in the amount of $33,867, includ- <br />ing tax, for the furnishings for the Lawrence A. Hutton and Peter S. Luque <br />Centers. <br />Mr. Calabrese said Staff recommends the award of bids as outlined, with <br />the funding of $21,200 from Community Centers Capital Outlay as budgeted, <br />and $12,667 from Revenue Sharing funds. <br />Moved by Councilman Gonzales, seconded by Mayor Beltran, approving award of <br />bids to Fischer Office Interiors and Conlar Associates in the amount of <br />$33,867 for the furnishings for the Lawrence A. Hutton and Peter S. Luque <br />Centers, with funding as outlined by Staff. No. 3777 <br />Q <br />City Attorney Edwards presented Resolution No. 3777 for Council's consider- <br />ation and approval, advising that this Resolution establishes a license fee <br />for alarm systems, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1530. <br />Moved by Councilman Gonzales, seconded by Councilman Hayes, approving Reso- <br />lution No. 3777.
