Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve <br />Resolution No. 3789, subject to -the City receiving the Grant Deed as stipu- <br />lated. Vote was unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3789 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF <br />ORANGE SHOW ROAD NORTH OF FAIRWAY DRIVE. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Tract No. 9603 <br />Sewer Service <br />City Manager Calabrese referred to a letter from Mr. James E. Coffin, Vice- <br />Presi.dent of C -Y Development Company, dated March 13, 1978, requesting "will <br />serve letter" from the City of Colton for sewer service to Tract No. 9603, <br />Grand Terrace area, County Service Area No. 70, Improvement Zone "H", and <br />recommended this matter be referred to Staff for study and report. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to refer to Staff <br />the request for sewer service to Tract No. 9603, as outlined by Staff. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Q <br />Annexations <br />North 14 <br />Planning Director Gonzales advised that Colton Annexation North 14, ap- <br />proved by the L.A.F.C. on March 8, 1978, involves 7.652 acres of undevel- <br />oped land located west of Grand Avenue, between Citrus and Mill Streets. <br />Mr. Gonzales concluded Staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 3790; <br />approving Colton Annexation North 14. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve <br />Resolution No. 3790. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3790 - RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNIN- <br />HABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "COLTON ANNEXATION <br />NORTH 14" TO THE CITY OF COLTON AND DETACHMENT FROM <br />THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO. <br />Annexations <br />South 31 <br />Planning Director Gonzales introduced Resolution No. 3791 for Council's <br />consideration and approval, concerning Colton Annexation South 31, which <br />was approved by the L.A.F.C. on March 8, 1978, and involves 27.6 acres of <br />land located north of La Loma Avenue, between La Cadena Drive and Rosedale <br />Avenue. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Reso- <br />lution No. 3791. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO.,3791 <br />Annexations <br />South 32 <br />- RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNIN- <br />HABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "COLTON ANNEXATION <br />SOUTH 31" TO THE CITY OF COLTON AND WITHDRAWING SAID <br />ANNEXED AREA FROM COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 38 AND IM- <br />PROVEMENT ZONE G OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 38, AND <br />COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 70 AND IMPROVEMENT ZONE A OF <br />COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 70. <br />Planning Director Gonzales advised that Colton Annexation South 32 con- <br />cerns 20 acres of land located west of Bostick Avenue, bordered on the <br />west and south by the Colton City Limits. Mr. Gonzales stated the L.A.F.C. <br />approved this annexation to the City on March 8, 1978, and recommended ap- <br />proval of Resolution No. 3792. <br />39 <br />MAR 21 1978 <br />
