<br />May 16, 1978
<br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the
<br />above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor
<br />Gonzales presiding.
<br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
<br />Invocation was offered by Youth Pastor Ronald Hoover of the Azure Hills Seventh-
<br />Day Adventist Church.
<br />ROLL CALL:
<br />Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, and Mayor Gonzales. Also
<br />present were City Manager Calabrese, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos.

<br />May 2, 1978 - Correction to Page 5, second paragraph under heading "Hermosa
<br />Cemetery/Cemetery Commission"; the recommendation of the Cemetery Commission
<br />was to retain Hermosa Cemetery, increase burial rates, and embark on public
<br />relations program and other measures to make it self-supporting; the City
<br />Manager recommended that the City look at all alternatives, and that he
<br />would return to the City Council with a complete report.

<br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS:
<br />Resolution of Conqratulations
<br />Mayor Gonzales read in full a Resolution of Congratulations honoring employee
<br />Henry Martinez on his retirement from the City of Colton.
<br />Mayor Gonzales presented the Resolution to Mr. Martinez.
