The City Council stated it would recess, at 8:05 p. m., to conduct the business of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton. The City Council reconvened at 9:18 p. m., all Council Members present. Cooley Ranch, Project No. 4 City Attorney Edwards advised that the City Council may now take action on two resolutions adopted by the Redevelopment Agency pertaining to the Cooley Ranch, Project No. 4 area. Mr. Edwards stated that Resolution No. 3881 concerns the setting of a joint Public Hearing, between the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency, on Tuesday, Decem- ber 19, 1978, to consider Amendment No. 1 to the Redevelopment Plan for the Cooley Ranch, Project No. 4. Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution No. 3881. Unanimous vote. RESOLUTION NO. 3881 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ACKNOW- LEDGING RECEIPT OF RESOLUTIONS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON REGARDING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE REDEVELOP- MENT PLAN FOR THE COOLEY RANCH, PROJECT NO. 4, CONSENTING TO THE HOLDING OF A JOINT PUBLIC HEARING THEREON BY THE AGENCY Q AND THE CITY COUNCIL, SETTING A DATE FOR SUCH HEARING AND PRO- VIDING FOR THE GIVING OF NOTICE THEREOF. Mr. Edwards advised that Resolution No. 3882 concerns a lack of necessity to form a project area committee with regard to the Cooley Ranch, Project No. 4. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Resolution No. 3882. Vote was unanimous. RESOLUTION NO. 3882 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON MAKING FINDINGS AND DETERMINATIONS RE LACK OF NECESSITY TO FORM A PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Mr. Gene McMeans, 12004 Glenwood Avenue, Colton, stated he would like to remind the City Council that the Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 27, 1978, to consider the proposed development of Tract No. 10395, near Westwood Street, in Reche Canyon, and he was hopeful that someone from the City of Colton would be present at the hearing to support the residents of Reche Canyon in their petition to oppose this development. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Executive Session, at 9:24 p. m., to discuss Personnel Matters, and reconvened at 10:05 p. m., all Members present.
