160 Mr. Calabrese stated that due to the extensive work involved in the Mt. Vernon <br />Avenue project, he was requesting authorization to hire Groundsman Trainees on <br />a temporary basis, with salary to be paid through Electric Department funds, which <br />would be reimbursed through funds from the project. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approving and authorizing <br />City Manager to hire Groundsman Trainees as outlined. Vote was unanimous. <br />Mr. Calabrese requested permission to set for Public Hearing, on Tuesday, November <br />7, 1978, the position of Internal Auditor. <br />On Council consensus, the City Manager was authorized to set for Public Hearing, on <br />Tuesday, November 7, 1978, the position of Internal Auditor. <br />Boards and Commissions <br />Rent Review Board <br />The City Council directed the City Attorney to proceed with the necessary legal <br />documentation for setting up a Rent Review Board, draft a set of rules and regu- <br />lations indicating guidelines, powers and duties, etc., of the Members of the <br />Board, and each Council Member is to submit names of persons for consideration <br />and appointment to the Board. <br />ADJOURNMFNT: <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:45 p. m. <br />7 <br />HELEN A.
