City Attorney Edwards stated this was all that he had to report on this matter at <br />this time. <br />Ordinance No. 1548 <br />Second Reading <br />City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 1548 for Second Reading, reading it <br />as to number and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1548 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ADDING CHAPTER <br />Second Reading 7.09 TO THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE DECLARING THE MAINTENANCE OF <br />APIARIES AND THE KEEPING OF BEES TO BE A NUISANCE AND PROHIBIT- <br />ING THE MAINTENANCE OF APIARIES AND THE KEEPING OF BEES WITHIN <br />THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to waive further reading <br />and adopt Ordinance No. 1548. Unanimous vote. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Thomas Lee, resident of the Lake Cadena Mobile Home Park, stated that with regard <br />to the report given on rent stabilization, what does it mean? What kind of action is <br />the City of Colton going to take? <br />Mayor Gonzales recommended that the City of Colton follow the actions taken by the <br />City of San Bernardino as outlined by our City Attorney. <br />Councilman Hayes stated that although he did not favor Items 2 and 3, he would be <br />in favor of establishing a Rent Review Board for the City of Colton. <br />After additional discussion, moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman <br />Cisneros, to establish a Rent Review Board for Mobile Home Parks for the City of <br />Colton, consisting of nine members. Motion carried, with Councilman Rehrer voting <br />NO. <br />ADJOURNMFNT_- <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:13 p. m. <br />�. <br />Lc <br />HELEN A.
