No. 895 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no <br />Protests or objections had been received. <br />Planning Director Gonzales reported on the zone change application, requested by <br />Arlie 0. Aten, to change the zone from C-1 to C -2-X, which will involve three <br />lots, all vacant and containing 60 foot frontages and running 140 feet in depth, <br />with a total acreage of 25,200 square feet, on property located west of Mt. Vernon <br />Avenue, north of Laurel Avenue, in the 1400 block of Rialto Avenue. <br />Mr. Gonzales advised that the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this <br />matter, September 27, 1978, and recommend approval of the zone change as outlined <br />in Planning Commission Resolution No. 895. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to terminate the Public <br />Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to waive further reading <br />of Ordinance No. 1551. Vote was unanimous. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1551 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9645 <br />First Reading AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN ZONE RECLASSIFICATIONS. <br />Zoning <br />P. C. Res. No.. 894 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no <br />protests or objections had been received. <br />Mr. Gonzales reported on the General Plan Amendment, Index No. A-12-78, to the <br />Land Use Element, outlining the proposed land use redesignation of five areas <br />of the City. <br />Mr. Gonzales advised the Planning Commission held a public hearing September 27, <br />1978, and recommend approval of the General Plan Amendment and land use redesig- <br />nations as outlined in Planning Commission Resolution No. 894. Mr. Gonzales <br />further advised that an environmental assessment has been made, however, a nega- <br />tive declaration must also be issued, therefore, it would be in order for the <br />City Council to accept the negative declaration and approve Resolution No. 3865. <br />OCT 1 'd"1978 <br />
