147 <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Professional Organization Files <br />Chamber of Commerce <br />Mr. Frank Rebollo, Manager of the Chamber of Commerce, made a presentation to the <br />City Council with regard to forthcoming social functions that will be conducted by <br />the Chamber of Commerce, inviting each Council Member to attend, and presented each <br />Council Member with complimentary tickets to a forthcoming golf tournament. <br />Mr. Rebollo also requested use of the Council Chambers on Monday evening, at 7:00 <br />p. m., October 23, 1978, for a Candidate's Night, to be hosted by the Chamber. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approving request of <br />Chamber of Commerce for use of the Council Chambers on Monday, October 23, 1978, <br />at 7:00 p. m., for a Candidate's Night. Unanimous vote. <br />Labor Relations Files <br />City Manager Calabrese stated that the San Bernardino Public Employees Association <br />representing the General Employees has agreed to accept the Memorandum of Under- <br />standing as presented, and have also requested the establishment of an insurance <br />committee to consist of a representative from the City Council, a representative <br />from S.B.P.E.A., and representatives from the General Employees. <br />Mr. Calabrese stated if the City Council concurs, it would be in order to adopt <br />Q Resolution No. 3860, and appoint a member of the City Council to the proposed <br />Q insurance committee. <br />Q <br />Moved by Mayor Gonzales, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution No. <br />3860, and ratifying the Mayor's appointment of Councilman Hayes to the proposed <br />insurance committee. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />An.inIIRNMFNT- <br />3860 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO <br />CONSIDER A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR GENERAL EMPLOYEES <br />AND MEMBERS OF THE SAN BERNARDINO PUBLIC EMPLOYEES ASSOCIA- <br />TION OF THE CITY OF COLTON, EFFECTIVE JULY 15 1978, AND RE- <br />PEALING RESOLUTION NO. 3859. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:12 p. m. <br />HELEN A.
