147 ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Professional Organization Files Chamber of Commerce Mr. Frank Rebollo, Manager of the Chamber of Commerce, made a presentation to the City Council with regard to forthcoming social functions that will be conducted by the Chamber of Commerce, inviting each Council Member to attend, and presented each Council Member with complimentary tickets to a forthcoming golf tournament. Mr. Rebollo also requested use of the Council Chambers on Monday evening, at 7:00 p. m., October 23, 1978, for a Candidate's Night, to be hosted by the Chamber. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approving request of Chamber of Commerce for use of the Council Chambers on Monday, October 23, 1978, at 7:00 p. m., for a Candidate's Night. Unanimous vote. Labor Relations Files City Manager Calabrese stated that the San Bernardino Public Employees Association representing the General Employees has agreed to accept the Memorandum of Under- standing as presented, and have also requested the establishment of an insurance committee to consist of a representative from the City Council, a representative from S.B.P.E.A., and representatives from the General Employees. Mr. Calabrese stated if the City Council concurs, it would be in order to adopt Q Resolution No. 3860, and appoint a member of the City Council to the proposed Q insurance committee. Q Moved by Mayor Gonzales, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolution No. 3860, and ratifying the Mayor's appointment of Councilman Hayes to the proposed insurance committee. Unanimous vote. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimously passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:12 p. m. HELEN A.
