2 96 CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Agreements City Attorney Edwards presented to the Council Members, for their consideration and approval, the annual renewal of an.Agreement between the City of Colton and Mr. William Freeman for services relating to the pick-up of large animals, the only change being a slight increase in charges for this service. Mr. Edwards stated he has reviewed the Agreement and would recommend approval. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Agreement between the City of Colton and Mr. William Freeman as outlined. Unanimous vote. Hutton Center Swimming Pool Mr. Edwards referred to a memorandum dated August 2, 1979, from Director of Building and Safety John Twiss, regarding a progress report on the swimming pool located in Municipal Park. ORAL COMMUNICATTnNS- Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, Colton, asked if letters have been sent to Hal Kelley Grain & Milling Company and the Union Pacific Railroad regarding the problems he brought to the attention of the City Council at a previous meeting. City Attorney Edwards advised that the letters have been sent to the respective companies, however, no response has been received as yet. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 9:07 p. m., to discuss Personnel matters, and reconvened at 9:29 p. m., all Members present. ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimously passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:30 p. m., to meet for an Ad- journed Regular Meeting on Wednesday, August 8, 1979, at 6:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 8, 1979 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. ROH CAI i Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Temby, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were Finance Director Helsley, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Mayor Gonzales called for an Executive Session at 6:08 p. m. Mr. Ray Abril addressed the Council and stated that the people with him this even- ing have many other commitments and would appreciate an opportunity to clarify their understanding of the Council action taken with respect to their request for Revenue Sharing Funds prior to the Council going into Executive Session this evening.
