2 96 CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Agreements <br />City Attorney Edwards presented to the Council Members, for their consideration <br />and approval, the annual renewal of an.Agreement between the City of Colton and <br />Mr. William Freeman for services relating to the pick-up of large animals, the <br />only change being a slight increase in charges for this service. <br />Mr. Edwards stated he has reviewed the Agreement and would recommend approval. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Agreement <br />between the City of Colton and Mr. William Freeman as outlined. Unanimous vote. <br />Hutton Center <br />Swimming Pool <br />Mr. Edwards referred to a memorandum dated August 2, 1979, from Director of <br />Building and Safety John Twiss, regarding a progress report on the swimming <br />pool located in Municipal Park. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATTnNS- <br />Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, Colton, asked if letters have been sent to <br />Hal Kelley Grain & Milling Company and the Union Pacific Railroad regarding the <br />problems he brought to the attention of the City Council at a previous meeting. <br />City Attorney Edwards advised that the letters have been sent to the respective <br />companies, however, no response has been received as yet. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 9:07 p. m., to discuss Personnel <br />matters, and reconvened at 9:29 p. m., all Members present. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimously <br />passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:30 p. m., to meet for an Ad- <br />journed Regular Meeting on Wednesday, August 8, 1979, at 6:00 p. m., in the <br />Council Chambers of City Hall. <br />FM <br />✓ Yom Fs <br />HELEN A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />Approved this 21st day of August, 1979. <br />ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 8, 1979 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at <br />6:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />ROH CAI i <br />Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Temby, and Mayor Gonzales. <br />Also present were Finance Director Helsley, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk <br />Ramos. <br />Mayor Gonzales called for an Executive Session at 6:08 p. m. <br />Mr. Ray Abril addressed the Council and stated that the people with him this even- <br />ing have many other commitments and would appreciate an opportunity to clarify their <br />understanding of the Council action taken with respect to their request for Revenue <br />Sharing Funds prior to the Council going into Executive Session this evening. <br />AUG 8 1979 <br />
