Vote was unanimous. <br />Flartinnq <br />City Attorney Edwards advised there are two resolutions concerning the forthcoming <br />Election to be held April 8, 1980, and the first one for consideration deals with <br />the matter of whether or not the City Council desires to have a measure on the <br />ballot relating to the distribution of State Sales Tax Revenue. <br />Discussion then followed with regard to the sales tax initiative and the redistri- <br />bution of State sales tax. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Temby, approving the Sales <br />Tax Initiative as a ballot measure for the forthcoming General Municipal Election, <br />April 8, 1980. Unanimous vote. <br />City Attorney Edwards stated it would now be in order to consider Resolution No. <br />3962. <br />Moved by Councilman Temby, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve Resolution <br />No. 3962. Vote was unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />3962 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALI- <br />FORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE HOLDING OF A GENERAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 8, <br />19805 FOR THE ELECTION OF CERTAIN OFFICERS OF SAID CITY AS RE- <br />QUIRED BY THE PROVISIONS OF THE <br />LAWS <br />FORFTHETHE <br />SUBMISSIOONCTOIT�ENIA <br />RELATING TO GENERAL LAW CITIES AND <br />QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF SAID CITY OF A QUESTION RELATING TO DIS- <br />TRIBUTION OF STATE SALES TAX REVENUE. <br />Mr. Edwards then introduced Resolution No. 3961 for consideration and approval. <br />Moved by Councilman Temby, seconded by Mayor Gonzales, to approve Resolution No. <br />3961.
