HELEN RAMOS City Clerk City of Colton Approved this 20th day of February, 1979. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * COUNCIL MEETING February 20, 1979 A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. Mayor Gonzales commented there were several Firemen from various cities in Mexico visiting the City of Colton to study our fire fighting techniques and procedures, and welcomed them to the Council Meeting. Fire Chief Al Teague introduced the firemen. Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. ROLL CALL: Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Temby, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Calabrese, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. CONSENT CALENDAR: Minutes February 6, 1979 February 13, 1979 Warrantc Bids 21678, 23144 through 23381 17488 through 17611 February 16, 1979 Inclusive Request permission to advertise for Bids for Transformers, Electric Department. Claims George Lum (Mrs.) Abraham Garcia vs. Virginia Gutierres Recommend denial. vs. City of Colton City of Colton vs. City of Colton Charitable Organizations Easter Seal Society Annual Campaign during the month of March. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve the Consent Calendar. Vote was unanimous. MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: Proclamations Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation declaring February as American Heart Month and supporting the Heart Campaign of the California Heart Association.
