Vote was <br />unanimous. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />_Ordinance No. 1562 <br />s ' Second Reading <br />City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 1562 for Second Reading, reading <br />it as to number and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1562 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 964, <br />Second Reading AS AMENDED, AND PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN ZONE RECLASSIFICATIONS. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Second Reading <br />of Ordinance No. 1562, and waive further reading. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to adopt Ordinance <br />No. 1562. Vote was unanimous. <br />City Council <br />M <br />(Y) Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, approving informal wear <br />for Council Members for the summer Meetings. Unanimous vote. <br />_EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 8:43 p. m., to discuss matters <br />of Litigation, and reconvened at 10:31 p. m., all Members present. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Jess Vasquez, 677 South 8th Street, stated he would like to suggest that the <br />Council Members consider placing "Oral Communication" on the Agenda following the <br />"Consent Calendar" for the convenience of the citizens that do not wish to sit <br />through the whole meeting before being able to address the City Council. <br />Mr. Vasquez then presented the City Council with a box containing a sample of the <br />ground from the property at 460 East M Street, behind the building known as "Keith <br />and Carl's Garage". Mr. Vasquez advised there is a run-off behind this building <br />where they are storing oil drums, which is creating a health and fire hazard, and <br />he, along with other residents, is complaining about it so that the City will have <br />this taken care of. Mr. Vasquez requested that the City have tests made of the <br />samples of dirt that he had brought in. <br />After discussion among Council Members and Mr. Vasquez, Councilman Temby suggested <br />this matter be referred to Staff for investigation and report back to the City <br />Council. <br />An,1nIIRNMFNT <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 10:41 p. m. <br />HELEN A.
