304 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3929 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ADOPT- <br />ING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1979-80. <br />PPrgnnnPl <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to set for Public Hearing <br />on Tuesday, September 4, 1979, at 7:30 p. m., amendment to Job Description for <br />Senior Electrical Engineering Aide. Unanimous vote. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Agreements <br />Res. No. 3930 <br />City Attorney Edwards presented Resolution No. 3930 to the Council Members for <br />consideration and approval, terminating the Agreement for Street Sweeping <br />services between the City of Colton and the R. F. Dickson Company, Inc., effec- <br />tive September 30, 1979. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve RESOLU- <br />TION NO. 3930. Motion carried, with Mayor Gonzales voting NO. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, Colton, stated that with regard to street <br />sweeping, he would like to suggest that the City make sure 6th Street and F <br />Street are swept more often and taken care of in a better manner. <br />Mr. Frank Rebollo, Manager of the Chamber of Commerce, invited the Council Members <br />and Staff to the Grand Opening of Kitty's Culinary, located on Valley Boulevard in <br />Western Town, to be held Monday, August 27, 1979, at 5:00 p. m. <br />Mayor Gonzales stated it has been brought to his attention that the Sun -Telegram <br />intends to close the Colton Office and move their Staff to the Rialto Office. <br />Mayor Gonzales said he would like to suggest that the Sun -Telegram consider re- <br />taining the office in Colton and move their Rialto staff to Colton. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman -Hayes, approving that the Sun - <br />Telegram Office be advised the City of Colton desires to retain the Colton Office, <br />and move their Rialto Staff to Colton. Unanimous vote. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 9:13 p. m., to discuss Personnel <br />Matters, and reconvened at 9:42 p. m., all Members present. <br />An.1(IIIRNMFNT <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 9:45 p. m. <br />HELEN A.
