42 2miscellaneous publications, travel to promote the city or secure special funding, <br />projects andfor programs, and overhead credits charged to all departments. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer to tentatively approve <br />the Community Promotion Budget as recommended. <br />Disability Insurance <br />City Auditor Young stated their has been a decrease in Disability Insurance and the <br />$646 appears to be adequate. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to tentatively approve <br />the Disability Insurance Budget as submitted. Unanimous vote. <br />Bonded Debt/Underpass Bonds/Public Building Construction Certificates <br />City Auditor Young explained the Bonded Debt service budget, saying the Underpass <br />Bonds are for the 1965 Series and will be paid off in 1988; the Public Building <br />Construction Certificate is for the Civic Center and is due to be paid off in <br />1986. These two budgets are for the principal and interest payments on the bonds. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to tentatively approve <br />the Bonded Debt Budget as submitted. Unanimous vote. <br />Budget Scheduling <br />Acting City Manager Elliott asked the City Council to consider meeting on Thursday, <br />June 19, to review the Recreation, Finance, City Manager and Personnel Budgets; and <br />possibly give tentative overall approval with final approval scheduled for sometime <br />next week. <br />Oral Communications <br />Mr. Ray Abril asked if the citizens would be able to take part during the Recreation <br />Budget protion as he would like to find out how much is left of the $33,000 Revenue <br />Sharing allocation given to the Special Recreation Program. Mr. Abril said he would <br />like an itemized statement of how much was spent and how it was spent. <br />Acti-ng City Manager Elliott replied that currently it is planned to continue all <br />on going programs, however, they would come under the Recreation Department. Mr. <br />Elliott siad he could meet with Mr. Abril and go over any questions he may have <br />and supply him with an itemized statement as requested. <br />A meeting time of Friday, June 20, 1980, at 3:30 p. m., was agreed on by Mr. Abril <br />and Mr. Elliott. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 7:00 p. m., for Meet and Confer <br />matters. <br />The City Council reconvened from Executive Session at 7:30 p. m., all Members present. <br />Note: Although Executive Session was called for, the City Council instead recessed <br />and postponed Executive Session to be held after the Regular City Council Agenda <br />scheduled for 7:30 p. m. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 7:30 p. m., by unanimous vote on motion of <br />Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes. <br />y <br />HELEN A.
