GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES County of San Bernardino City Attorney Edwards reported that he had received notice that the County of San Bernardino in consideration of the 1980-81 Fiscal Year Budget, is proposing to eliminate the Colton Justice Court as of October 1, 1980. Mr. Edwards asked what action Council wished him to take. Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to authorize the Mayor to write a letter to the Board of Supervisors objecting to the elimination of the Colton Justice Court and to authorize the City Attorney and the Acting City Manager to attend the meeting of the Board to voice this objection on behalf of the City.
