396 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 15, 1980 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales <br />presiding. <br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />ROLL CALL-- <br />Council <br />ALL: <br />Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, and Mayor Gonzales. Also <br />present were City Manager Gonzales, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />Absent was Councilman Temby. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Councilman Rehrer requested that Items 21 <br />3 and 4, under Item No. 3 concerning Bids, <br />be removed from the Consent Calendar and handled separately. <br />Minutes <br />April 1, 1980 <br />Warrantc <br />34462 through 34720 <br />12458, 13002 through 13131 <br />April 10, 1980 Inclusive <br />Bids <br />Sewer Improvement Project, Fernando & Florez Streets, H. Three re- <br />maining surplus vehicles to be auctioned off at Police Auction, May 17, 1980. <br />Request authorization to advertise for Bids, Diesel Powered Cab & Chasis. <br />Request authorization to advertise for Bids, Three 167 KVA Transformers. <br />Deeds <br />Grant Deed, dedication of "C" Street for Street Purposes, Robert Mathis. <br />Swimming Pool <br />Construction Progress Report. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar as outlined. Unanimous vote. <br />Bids <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to award bid to Riverside <br />Tractor Inc., $27,517.60, for purchase of Backhoe for Parks and Cemetery Division. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to award bid to Mack Trucks <br />Inc., $68,721.92, for purchase of a side -loader Refuse Collection Truck for the Sani- <br />tation Division. Vote was unanimous. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Mayor Gonzales, to award bid to Inland Water <br />Works, $7,992.52, for water main materials for the Water Division. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamations <br />Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation declaring the month of May as Correct <br />Posture Month. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Lot Cleanin /Weed Abatement <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />APR '1130 <br />
