Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Weed Abatement <br />Res. No. 4014 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Deputy City Clerk Veralrud submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported that <br />no protests or objections had been received. <br />Director of Community Services Wang advised the contract for the 1980 Weed Abate- <br />ment project was awarded to Rick's Tractor and Discing, and the contractor has <br />satisfactorily completed the work with a total of 338 parcels abated at a total <br />cost of $20,724.21. <br />Mr. Wang concluded Staff recommends accepting the project as completed and authoriz- <br />ing the filing of the Notice of Completion. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to terminate the Public <br />Hearing. Vote was unanimous. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, approving Resolution No. <br />4014, and authorizing the filing of the Notice of Completion.
