Unanimous vote. <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Street Vacations <br />Res. No. 4004 <br />Community Services Director Calvin Wang reported from his memorandum dated <br />June 13, 1980, regarding the street rights-of-way vacation of Indian Knoll <br />Road, northeast of Mt. Vernon Avenue, as requested by Pierce Plaza Company, <br />owner of the adjacent properties. <br />Mr. Wang advised that the Planning Commission reviewed this matter and recom- <br />mended vacation of this unimproved road, subject to retention of right-of-way <br />width and easements for utility purposes. <br />Mr. Wang concluded if the Council is in agreement, Staff would recommend ap- <br />proval of Resolution No. 4004, declaring the intent to vacate Indian Knoll <br />Road and setting this matter for public hearing on Tuesday, July 15, 1980. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Hayes, to approve Resolu- <br />tion No. 4004. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4004.- RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALI- <br />FORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE ABANDONMENT OF <br />A PORTION OF INDIAN KNOLL ROAD. <br />Street Vacations <br />Res. No. 4005 <br />Mr. Wang reviewed the street right-of-way vacation of a 20 foot portion of Meadow <br />Lane, north of Washington Street, as requested by Southern Commercial Corporation, <br />owner of land adjacent to the west of Meadow Lane. <br />Mr. Wang stated the Planning Commission reviewed this item and recommended approval <br />of the street vacation. <br />Mr. Wang said if Council concurs, it would be in order to approve Resolution No. <br />4005, declaring the intent to vacate a portion of Meadow Lane and setting this <br />matter for public hearing on Tuesday, July 15, 1980. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4005.
