Unanimous vote. <br />1.1300 <br />Electric Department <br />Acting City Manager Elliott reported from his memorandum to the City Council dated <br />June 3, 1980, recommending that bid award be made to Trans -West Ford Truck Sales, <br />Inc. for the Diesel Powered Cab and Chassis for the Electric Department. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer to award the bid for <br />the Diesel Powered Cab and Chassis to Trans -West Ford Truck Sales, Inc. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />BUDGET <br />Proposed Annual Budget 1980-81 <br />Acting City Manager Elliott called Council's attention to the Proposed Annual <br />Budget and Summary Sheets for 1980-81 and recommended that hearing dates for <br />budget review be set preferably, beginning next week. Mr. Elliott stated it <br />is Staffs' hope to have the Council adopt a final budget by June 30, 1980. <br />Council consensus was to meet for budget review on Tuesday, June 10, 1980, at <br />5:30 p.m. <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br />Colton/Grand Terrace Regional Council on Aging <br />Mayor Gonzales reported the letter from the Colton/Grand Terrace Regional Council <br />on Aging is requesting the City Council's reconsideration for a Produce Mini <br />Market to be located at the Hutton Center. <br />Mayor Gonzales stated this was a concern to all the Council Members, and inasmuch, <br />as there are two members absent tonight, he would recommend this item be tabled <br />to the next regular meeting. <br />On Council consensus the letter from the Colton/Grand Terrace Regional Council <br />on Aging was continued to the next regular meeting. <br />JUN <br />
