<br />Acting City Manager Elliott reported the agreement before the City Council tonight
<br />is for pole and anchor contracts on solely -owned City of Colton power poles and
<br />anchors to be used by Buena Vista Cable TV of Colton. Mr. Elliott stated the
<br />agreement has been reviewed by Staff and is acceptable to the City and has been
<br />signed by Mr. Ed Sterling, General Manager for Buena Vista.
<br />Councilman Rehrer requested that this item be held over to the next regular meeting
<br />due to the importance of the item and the absence of the two Council Members. The
<br />item was continued as requested.
<br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
<br />Rezoning Study
<br />City Attorney Edwards stated the Council Members have expressed concern about the
<br />excessive industrial zoning in the area between the San Bernardino Freeway and the
<br />Santa Ana River, east of Rancho Avenue.
<br />Mr. Henry Vasquez, 660 South 5th Street, spoke to the Council Members regarding a
<br />letter from Colton residents that had been delivered to Mayor Gonzales' home request-
<br />ing that the City Council reconsider their decision with regard to the auto towing
<br />business on Fogg Street.
<br />Councilwoman Garcia recommended this matter be held over to the next regular Council
<br />Meeting and also asked the City Attorney what the legal ramifications might be in
<br />reconsidering this matter.

<br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia and unanimously passed,
<br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 8:05 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned Regu-
<br />lar Meeting on Tuesday, June 10, 1980, at 5:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of
<br />City Hall.
