484 RESOLUTION NO. 4052 - RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 25225 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISH- <br />ING RULES AND REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE CONSTRUCTION AND IN- <br />SPECTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN PUBLIC STREETS, ALLEYS, <br />COURTS AND OTHER PUBLIC PLACES. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4053 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />AUTHORIZING DEPARTMENTS TO CHARGE COSTS OF REPRODUCTION OF CERTAIN <br />DOCUMENTS. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Board of Supervisors <br />Colton Justice Court <br />Mayor Gonzales referred to his memorandum to the Council Members requesting the <br />newly organized Board of Supervisors, who will meet December 1, 1980, to re- <br />establish the Colton Justice Court. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, authorizing that a letter <br />be written, for the Mayor's signature, to the Board of Supervisors requesting re- <br />establishment of the Colton Justice Court. Unanimous vote. <br />Chamber of Commerce <br />Mr. Wes Hayden, President of the Chamber of Commerce, presented a plaque to the <br />City Council thanking them for their assistance and participation in "Colton <br />Western Days" celebration. Mr. Hayden also commended the City Staff for their <br />assistance and cooperation during "Colton Western Days". <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Ra i 1 rnaric <br />Mayor Gonzales referred to a memorandum from the City Manager regarding correspond- <br />ence from the Southern Pacific Transportation Company and One Market Street Proper- <br />ties, and from the law firm of Redwine and Sherrill, relating to their property <br />located north of Interstate 10, Hunts Lane on the east, and the Santa Ana River on <br />the west, and possible drainage problems from future developments. <br />Mayor Gonzales advised that Staff has been in contact with these companies, and <br />will continue working with them in order to come up with some possible solutions <br />for the drainage problems in that area. <br />RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Ad Hoc Committee <br />Teen Center <br />City Manager Trevino reported that several meetings have been held with the Ad <br />Hoc Committee to discuss plans for the proposed Teen Center project, and a more <br />detailed and finalized report will be made to the City Council at the meeting <br />scheduled for December 2, 1980. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Insurance <br />Res. No. 4054 <br />City Manager Trevino referred to his memorandum recommending approval of Resolu- <br />tion No. 4054, reflecting a cost saving of $16,800 in Unemployment Insurance, due <br />to a reduction in the premium rate. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Resolution <br />No. 4054.
