462 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 2, 1980 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City .Flall, Mayor Gonzales <br />presiding. <br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by the Reverend Robert K. Johnson of the Colton Community <br />Church. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. Also <br />present were Acting City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk <br />Ramos. Approve and authorize recording. <br />Public Works <br />Construction Progress Report. <br />Southern California Edison Company <br />Condemnation Proceedings, set Public Hearing for Tuesday, September 16, 1980. <br />Assessment Districts <br />Report from City Treasurer dated August 28, 1980. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Community Services <br />Off -Site Improvements <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Director of Community Services Calvin Wang requested that the public hearing this <br />evening concerning the installation of curb, gutter and sidewalk be continued to <br />the next regular Council Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, September 16, 1980, due <br />to unforeseen circumstances, Staff was unable to send out all of the required legal <br />notices to the affected property owners adjacent to Walnut Street, between Congress <br />and Maple Streets. <br />S E P 2 1980 <br />
