Unanimous vote. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Report/Study on City Services <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported on the Southeast Colton Services <br />and Facilities Financing and Management Plan as compiled by LSA Con- <br />sultants, the focus of the study being Circulation and Traffic, Elec- <br />trical Power, Sewer, Water, Fire Protection, Police Protection, and <br />Solid Waste Disposal. <br />Mr. Aguilera said in summary, the report indicates that capacities of <br />City provided utilities or services, except Fire and Police, will not <br />be severly impacted by the currently proposed projects listed on Table <br />"A". It also states that Table "A" represents about 18 percent of what <br />total buildout could be. The report indicates that by the time build- <br />out occurs, all of the services will begin to become impacted. In <br />order to plan for the future, the report states that the City should <br />consider certain fees or other types of actions at present which would <br />alleviate problems in the future. <br />Mr. Bill Mayer, representing LSA Consultants, spoke to the Council re- <br />garding their study stating the object was to examine the current six <br />or seven projects in the area, looking at each development and the <br />impact on services. Mr. Mayer advised they interviewed several de- <br />partments that would be effected to better come up with the possible <br />impacts on the area. <br />AUG 6 1%5 <br />
