Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Mayor Huntoon read his memorandum regarding reappointments of Jeanie <br />Ferrante to the Civil Service Board for another five year term, and <br />Bud Allen to the Cemetery Commission for another three year term. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, approving <br />and ratifying Mayor's reappointments to the Civil Service Board and <br />Cemetery Commission. Unanimous vote. <br />Mayor Huntoon advised that Jesse Porter has resigned as a member of the <br />Inland Library Systems Advisory Board, and Marjorie Holtzendorff has <br />expressed her willingness to serve on this board and fill the unexpired <br />term of Mrs. Porter. Mayor Huntoon recommended Mrs. Holtzendorff be <br />appointed to fill the unexpired term on the Inland Library Systems Ad- <br />visory Board. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to ap- <br />prove and ratify appointment of Marjorie Holtzendorff to the Inland <br />Library Systems Advisory Board. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Zoning <br />Ord. No. 1696 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Continuance of the Public Hearing. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Notice of Posting Continuance and re- <br />ported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported the applicants, Jeral D. Stanley <br />and Ray Mazna, have requested a change of zone from C-1 to C-2/SDA <br />on property located at the northwest corner of Valley Boulevard and <br />Rancho Avenue, which they intend to develop to include an assortment <br />of fast f ood, office and retail shops. <br />Mr. Aguilera continued the Planning Commission was in agreement with <br />the proposed zone change, however, were concerned about the types of <br />uses that could be allowed in proximity to the high school, and decided <br />DEC 17 WS <br />
