ORDINANCE NO. 1677 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING ORDI- (First Reading) NANCE NO. 1602, AND TITLE 18 OF THE COLTON MUNICI- PAL CODE, CHAPTER 18.12, LAND USE ZONES, SPECIFIC PLAN ZONE. I J COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Agreements Res. No. 4547 Acting Director of Community Services John Hutton reported that the Office of Traffic Safety currently has funds available for traffic signal analysis and safety evaluations, and these funds can be util- Oized to show the current and future needs of the City's traffic signal and signing system. LD Mr. Hutton continued the City can meet the requirements of matching 0 funds by using City personnel time on the project, and Resolution No. co 4547 approves and agrees to the preparation of an agreement with the Q California Office of Traffic Safety for the development of a traffic control device and accident record system. Mr. Hutton concluded Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 4547 and the proposed project. Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve Resolution No. 4547 and proposed traffic safety project. Unanimous vote. RESOLUTION NO. 4547 - A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AGREEING TO THE PREPARATION OF AN AGREE- MENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFE- TY FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING A GRANT RELATIVE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE INVENTORY AND ACCIDENT RECORD SYSTEM, AND AUTH- ORIZING EXECUTION BY DESIGNATED OFFICIALS. CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Multifamily Housing Projects Res. Nos. 4548 & 4549 City Manager Elliott presented two resolutions for Council's considera- tion and approval relating to proposed multifamily housing projects an bond financing for the developments. Mr. Elliott stated that although these are last minute items to the agenda, it was necessary to present them this evening due to time limi- tations for the financing. Mr. Elliott concluded Staff would recommend approval of Resolution No. 4548, relating to Sycamore Investors, and Resolution No. 4549, relating to Robertson Homes. Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Resolution Nos. 4548 and 4549. Unanimous vote.
