(13) Dance Permit/Street Closure
Request from San Salvador Church for Street Closure and City
Services for Annual Fiesta, August 3 and 4, 1985.
(14) Fleming Park
Request for use of Fleming Park on Saturday, July 27, 1985,
for Little Miss Colton Pageant.
(15) Annexations
Annexation South 43, acceptance of Tax Negotiations, con-
sider RESOLUTION NO. 4635.
Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to ap-
prove the Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote.
PUBLIC HEARINGS:
Landscaping & Lighting District No. 1
Res. Nos. 4625 & 4626
Mayor Huntoon declared the Continuation of the Public Hearing.
City Clerk Ramos submitted the Notice of Posting Continuation of
Public Hearing.
Acting.Director of Community Services John Hutton read his report
stating the Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 was
originally formed in July of 1983 at the request of owner/developer
of Tract Nos. 10970-10975, Fredricks Development Company, and for
Tract Nos. 11370-11372, Century Homes. Because these tracts were of
substantial size, they were phased in stages over a period of years.
Century Homes has just recently completed the final phases and
Fredricks Development has their final phase under construction. Due
to these construction phases, the developers have been responsible for
maintaining the landscaping and irrigation of the parks and parkways
until final completion of the entire project. At this point the
City's private contractual service, selected through a competitive
process, would take over the maintenance of the parks and parkways
within the development.
Mr. Hutton continued the Engineer's Report is an annual report requir-
ed to indicate any changes to the District, or any increases or de-
creases in the annual assessments due to changes in contract amounts
or cost adjustments because of inflation factors. In addition to this
any amounts collected over the actual costs during the contract period
could be applied to reduce the following years levied assessments.
Mr. Hutton concluded if Council concurs, adoption of Resolution Nos.
4625 and 4626 would be in order.
Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter.
Upon no one stepping forward, moved -by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded
by Councilman Rios, the Public Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote
Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to ap-
prove Resolution Nos. 4625 and 4626.
