Unanimous vote. 00 MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: Q Presentations Mayor Huntoon read in full a Resolution of Commendation honoring Ramon Tafoya for his accomplishments in a nationwide contest held by the Apple Computer Company, and for his donation of computer equipment to the Colton Public Library. Mayor Huntoon presented the Resolution of Commendation and a Plaque to Mr. Tafoya. Proclamations Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation honoring June 14, 1985, as VETERANS' RECOGNITION DAY, which was accepted by Mr. Aurelio De La Torre. Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation declaring June 14, 1985, as NATIONAL FLAG DAY. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Personnel Res. No. 4608 Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. Personnel Officer Elliott submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. City Manager Elliott advised this public hearing concerns an amend- ment to the City's Personnel Rules and Regulations, Rule %I, Atten- dance and Leaves, which will increase the percentage of sick leave paid at termination for employees of the Fire Unit and Electric Unit. Mr. Elliott stated if the Council concurs, Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 4608, amending the City's Personnel Rules and Regu- lations as outlined. Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone desired to speak on this matter. Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, the Public Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote.
