Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Mayor Huntoon recommended that Hilda Garcia and Donald McIntosh be <br />reappointed to the Library Board for additional terms, which will <br />expire on June 30, 1987. Mayor Huntoon asked for ratification of <br />these reappointments. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, ratify- <br />ing reappointments of Hilda Garcia and Donald McIntosh to the Library <br />Board. Unanimous vote. <br />Legislation <br />Res. No. 4616 <br />Mayor Huntoon stated that Resolution No. 4616, supporting passage of <br />Assembly Bill 1868, will be discussed under the City Attorney's Re- <br />ports and Recommendations. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Zoning/Conditional Use Permits <br />Ord. No. 1684 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported on the Zone Change request and <br />Conditional Use Permit application, from Robertson Homes, for their <br />project which will be located on the northwest corner of Washington <br />Street and Meadow Lane, containing approximately 16.7 acres of vacant <br />land, zoned C-2, General Commercial. Mr. Aguilera stated the appli- <br />cant plans to construct.367 apartment units on the site and in order <br />for the City to allow this use of the land, the -zoning must be changed <br />to C-1, Light Commercial <br />Mr. Aguilera advised the Planning Commission reviewed this matter on <br />May 28, 1985, and recommended approval, together with the Conditions <br />of Approval, as outlined in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2042. <br />Mr. Aguilera said Condition No. 14 requires that the applicant agrees <br />to have a management concept as outlined, and the applicant has agreed <br />to the concept and has submitted a letter indicating how Robertson <br />Homes will comply. <br />JUN 18 1Z <br />
