Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Safety Committee <br />Mayor Huntoon presented Certificates of Commendation to each member <br />of the 1984 Safety Committee for their service and dedication to the <br />Committee and City of Colton. <br />Mr. Elliott said Staff recommends the City Council adopt Resolution No. <br />4562, approving the Housing Policies Report and ordering its publica- <br />tion. <br />Mayor Huntoon-asked if anyone present desired to speak in favor of <br />or in opposition to this matter. <br />Upon no one stepping forward, on motion of Councilwoman Cisneros, <br />seconded by Councilman Rios, the Public Hearing was terminated. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to ap- <br />prove Resolution No. 4562. No. 4554 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Continuance of the Public Hearing. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting the Notice of <br />Continuance and reported that no protests or objections had been <br />received. <br />Mayor Huntoon referred to a letter from Matthew Kurilich requesting <br />a continuance of the Public Hearing to Tuesday, March 19, 1985, on <br />Index No. C-13-84, Conditional Use Permit. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to con- <br />tinue Public Hearing on Index No. C-13-84, Conditional Use Permit, <br />requested by Matthew Kurilich, to Tuesday, March 19, 1985. No. 4562 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />0 <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />LD <br />0 <br />City Manager Elliott reported the Tax Reform Act of 1984 <br />has added a <br />00 <br />new paragraph to the Housing Tax Law, Section 1O3A of the <br />Internal <br />Revenue Code of 1954, requiring that any City wishing to <br />issue Mortgage <br />Revenue Bonds must adopt a Housing Policies Report during <br />the year <br />preceding issuance of the bonds.
