Unanimous vote. 0 MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: c Q Boards & Commissions Mayor Huntoon stated it has been recommended that the City put to- gether a Beautification Committee, and he felt it was a good idea and wanted to have the Council's views on the proposal. Each Council Member stated they were in favor of establishing a Beautification Committee, and felt it was needed. Mayor Huntoon suggested this matter be referred to the City Manager, who could then report back to the Council with a recommendation as to the proper method of establishing and maintaining this Beautification Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve Mayor Huntoon's recommendation to establish a Beautification Committee for the City. Unanimous vote. Committee. Retirement Mayor Huntoon advised that Roy Briscoe, Automotive Superintendent, who is retiring from the City, could not be present this evening, and a plaque, in honor of his retirement, would be presented to Mr. Briscoe tomorrow. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Bonds/Financing Res. No. 4603 Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of P-ublication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. City Manager Elliott referred to a memorandum from Best, Best and Krieger, advising this is a TEFRA Hearing, regarding a multi -family rental housing project to be constructed by Mayer -Indian Oaks Ltd. Mr. Elliott said Staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 4603, approving the financing of the multi -family rental housing project. Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, the Public Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote. �IAY 21 Im
