Unanimous vote. <br />0 MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />c <br />Q Boards & Commissions <br />Mayor Huntoon stated it has been recommended that the City put to- <br />gether a Beautification Committee, and he felt it was a good idea <br />and wanted to have the Council's views on the proposal. <br />Each Council Member stated they were in favor of establishing a <br />Beautification Committee, and felt it was needed. <br />Mayor Huntoon suggested this matter be referred to the City Manager, <br />who could then report back to the Council with a recommendation as to <br />the proper method of establishing and maintaining this Beautification <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Mayor Huntoon's recommendation to establish a Beautification Committee <br />for the City. Unanimous vote. <br />Committee. <br />Retirement <br />Mayor Huntoon advised that Roy Briscoe, Automotive Superintendent, who <br />is retiring from the City, could not be present this evening, and a <br />plaque, in honor of his retirement, would be presented to Mr. Briscoe <br />tomorrow. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Bonds/Financing <br />Res. No. 4603 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of P-ublication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />City Manager Elliott referred to a memorandum from Best, Best and <br />Krieger, advising this is a TEFRA Hearing, regarding a multi -family <br />rental housing project to be constructed by Mayer -Indian Oaks Ltd. <br />Mr. Elliott said Staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 4603, <br />approving the financing of the multi -family rental housing project. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, the <br />Public Hearing was terminated.
