Total cost estimated $165,000, cost to be <br />shared with RDA. <br />Mr. Zamora concluded if Council concurs with Staff's recommendations, <br />as amended, it would be in order to adopt Resolution No. R-49-86. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Mr. John Zane, 1321 North 9th Street, Colton, thanked the Council for <br />including the Museum as one of the projects. <br />Mr. Wes Hayden, 279 West Litton, Colton, asked about the beautifica- <br />tion planned for South Colton, and what area it entailed. <br />O Mr. Emil Marzullo, Deputy Director of Community Planning and Develop - <br />Q ment for the County Department of Housing and Community Development, <br />read from reports with regard to the C.D.B.G. funding and future proj- <br />ects. Mr. Marzullo stated he did not have a complete report with him <br />Q regarding the beautification of South Colton. <br />co <br />Mr. Zamora added that the Q beautification would include that portion <br />of Census Tract 69, which terminates at Fogg Street. <br />After additional discussion, moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded <br />by Councilman Rios, to terminate the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-49-86. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-49-86 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON PRIORITIZING THE TYPES OF PROJECTS TO BE <br />FUNDED BY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986-87. <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Mayor Huntoon referred to a letter dated April 8, 1986, from Jim Meith, <br />Staff Representative, San Bernardino Public Employees Association, re- <br />garding General Unit negotiations. <br />Mr. Meith advised since the Special Meeting was held last week, they <br />have been advised by the City's representatives that the mediation <br />process will continue and a meeting has been set for April 23, 1986. <br />Mr. Meith stated hopefully these problems will be resolved. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Twe»rev%ne <br />City Attorney Edwards referred to his memorandum regarding Liability <br />Insurance, suggesting the City Council hold an Adjourned Meeting to <br />review this matter in greater detail. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to hold an <br />Adjourned Meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 1986, at 5:30 p. m., in the <br />Council Chambers of City Hall, to discuss the City's Liability In- <br />surance. Unanimous vote. <br />Impaction Report <br />Mr. Michael Whipple, M. F. Whipple & Company, Inc., 30131 Town Center <br />Drive, Laguna Niguel, made a presentation to the Council Members with <br />regard to establishing a Mello -Roos Community Facilities District, pur- <br />suant to the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, advising <br />there would be a fee of $2,500 to proceed. <br />APR 15 198fi <br />
