Unanimous vote. <br />Cemetery Commission <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, ratifying <br />Mayor's appointment of John Seymour to the Cemetery Commission. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, ratifying Mayo <br />appointment of Deidre Bennett to the Parks and Recreation Commission. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Planning Commission <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Mayor Gonzales, ratifying Mayor's <br />appointments of Bruce Gray and Roy Roman to the Planning Commission. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked each newly appointed Commissioner to stand. <br />Councilman Rehrer stated he was under the -impression that Richard Mosher <br />had been reappointed to the Planning Commission and, therefore, he would <br />like to withdraw his notion. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, ratify- <br />ing Mayor's appointments of Bruce Gray and Roy Roman to the Planning Com- <br />mission. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 <br />Res. No. R-181-86 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Continuation of the Public Hearing. <br />City'Cierk Ramos submitted the 'Affidavit of Posting Continuance and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />City Attorney Edwards stated that the continuation of this public <br />hearing does not include Annexation No. 5, as originally presented, <br />and Staff is recommending Annexation No. 5 be continued to the next <br />regular Council Meeting. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to con- <br />tinue the Public Hearing for Annexation No. 5 to the City's Landscaping <br />and Lighting Maintenance District No. 1, to Tuesday, January 6, 1987. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />City Manager Benest continued this is opportunity for the property <br />owners in the District to state their protest to the proposed Annexa- <br />tion No. 4 and, if no protests are registered, it would be in order to <br />approve Resolution No. R-181-86, ordering Annexation No. 4 to the City's <br />Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No. I. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Upon no one stepping forward, on motion of Councilwoman Cisneros, sec- <br />onded by Councilman Rios, the Public Hearing was terminated.
