Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Utilities Commission <br />Mayor Huntoon read his memorandum regarding appointment to the Utili- <br />ties Commission to fill a vacancy, for a four year term, recommending <br />appointment of Glenys Dickerson. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, approving and <br />ratifying appointment of Glenys Dickerson to the Utilities Commission. <br />Motion carried, with Councilwoman Garcia voting NO. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Appeals <br />A & R Development, et al <br />Mayor Huntoon announced this is a continuation of the Public Hearing <br />to consider the Appeal filed by A & K Development on a zone change <br />application and general plan amendment. Mayor Huntoon referred to a <br />letter from Joseph E. Bonadiman & Associates, requesting another two- <br />week continuance on this matter. <br />Mr. Dick Yost, 23247 Barton Road, Colton, stated the surrounding home- <br />owners of this tract are in opposition to the zone change as proposed. <br />Mr. Yost said the property owners are in favor of development of this <br />land, but are opposed to the zone change. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, approv- <br />ing request for continuance of Appeal filed by A & K Development, et <br />al, for a two-week period.
