Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamation <br />Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation declaring June 14, 1986, as <br />NATIONAL FLAG DAY. <br />O Boards & Commissions <br />Planning Commission/Civil Service Board <br />LO Planning Commission <br />0 <br />Co Mayor Huntoon referred to his memorandum regarding appointment of Carol <br />Bartels to the Planning Commission to fill the unexpired term of <br />Stanley,Cooley, who is moving outside the City limits. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, ratifying <br />appointment of Carol Bartels to the Planning Commission. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />Civil Service Board <br />Mayor Huntoon reported on a vacancy on the Civil Service Board, due <br />to the resignation of Molly Carrasco, and asked the Council Members <br />for recommendations for appointment. Mayor Huntoon then recommended <br />the appointment of Meredith Grossich to the Civil Service Board, to <br />fill the unexpired term. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to ratify <br />appointment of Meredith Grossich to the Civil Service Board. Vote <br />was unanimous. <br />Fleming Park <br />Acting City Manager Edwards reported on the use of Fleming Park by <br />the California Inland Empire Council Boy Scouts of America for their <br />First Annual Scout -O -Rama Show, and their request that "F" Street be <br />blocked off between La Cadena Drive and 7th Street. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve <br />request from Boy Scouts of America as outlined. Unanimous vote. <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Lighting & Landscaping Maintenance District #1 <br />Res. No. R-83-86 <br />Acting Director of Community Services John Hutton read his memorandum <br />P regarding the Lighting and Landscaping Maintenance District #1, and <br />adoption of Resolution No. R-83-86, in order to meet the required date <br />for the levying of annual assessments by the County Tax Collector, and <br />setting a public hearing date of July 15, 1986, to hear protests. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-83-86.
