167 Mr. Wes Hayden, 279 W. Litton, Colton, asked the Council for permission to lay a wreath in honor of Navy Commander William McGrath, at the City's Veterans Memorial. Commander McGrath lost his life in Viet Nam and his body was been returned this past week. Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve the request of Mr. Hayden, approving the laying of a Memorial Wreath in Honor of Navy Commander McGrath. Unanimous vote. Mr. Ralph Kilborn, 393 Reche Canyon Road, said he would like to bring up a point with regard to the additional tax burden on the citizens. Mr. Kilborn stated Colton has experienced an obvious increase in development, Y thereby increasing the tax revenue. Mr. Kilborn said the increased revenue should be used to offset the need for additional taxing of the citizens. Mrs. Yolanda Lopez, 789 West "F" Street, Colton, said since the City is increasing the residential refuse rates, perhaps, the seasonal City Cleanup could be increased to once a month.
