Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />the job description of Fire Prevention Officer and Resolution No. R-63- <br />86. Vote was unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-63-86 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4584. <br />Street Vacations <br />Res. No. R-64-86 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Acting Director of Community Services John Hutton reported on the vaca- <br />tion of Sequoia Avenue, advising that all notices and legal advertise- <br />ments have now been duly posted. Mr. Hutton stated if no protests are <br />heard, Staff would recommend adoption of Resolution No. R-64-86, order - <br />0 ing the abandonment of Sequoia Avenue. <br />LD Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />0 Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to termi- <br />co nate the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Q <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Resolution No-. R-64-86. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-64-86 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT <br />OF SEQUOIA AVENUE. <br />Redevelopment Agency <br />Mayor Huntoon announced the Joint Public Hearing of the City Council of <br />the City of Colton and the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton <br />on the proposed Redevelopment Plan for Amendment No. 3 to Redevelopment <br />Plan for the Cooley Ranch Project No. 4 Redevelopment Project and certi- <br />fication for final EIR. <br />City Clerk Ramos reported pursuant to the appropriate sections of the <br />California Community Redevelopment Law, Notice has been duly given that <br />the City Council of the City of Colton and the Redevelopment Agency for <br />the City of Colton have authorized a joint public hearing to consider <br />the approval and adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for Amendment No. 3 <br />to Redevelopment Plan for the Cooley Ranch Project No. 4 Redevelopment <br />Project which will be referred to as the "Redevelopment Plan" and certi- <br />fication of the accompanying EIR. Notice of this hearing was published <br />in the Colton Courier, a newspaper of general circulation, on April 10, <br />179 24, and May 1, 1986. The Acting Executive Director of the Redevelop- <br />ment Agency for the City of Colton, for the City Clerk, has caused to be <br />mailed by certified mail, notice of this public hearing to the last known <br />assessee of each parcel of land in the Project Area. <br />Mayor Huntoon and Chairperson Cisneros called for the City Council Roll <br />Call and the Redevelopment Agency Roll Call. <br />Mayor Huntoon announced this is the time and place set for the Joint <br />Public Hearing of the City Council of the City of Colton and the Rede- <br />velopment Agency for the City of Colton on the proposed Redevelopment <br />Plan Amendment No. 3 to Redevelopment Plan for the Cooley Ranch Project <br />No. 4 Redevelopment Project, and the proposed Environmental Impact Re- <br />port on Amendment No. 3, hereinafter referred to as the "Environmental <br />Impact Report". At this hearing, all persons who wish to speak for or <br />against the proposed amendment -and -the Environmental Impact Report will <br />have an opportunity to speak. <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the City Council Public Hearing open. <br />MAY 6 <br />
