249 <br />(2) Warrants <br />53500 through 53792 <br />126977 through 127250 <br />August 29, 1986, inclusive <br />Presentation of Plaque <br />Mayor Huntoon presented a Plaque to Richard Fryer in honor of his re- <br />tirement and for his 24 years of dedicated service to the City. <br />Director of Community Services John Hutton also congratulated and com- <br />mended Mr. Fryer. <br />Mr. Fryer thanked the Council Members and Mr. Hutton, and introduced <br />the members of his family present. <br />PTTRT.Tr RF.ARTN[_c- <br />Appeals <br />Matt Kurilich <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Continuance of the Public Hearing. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting Continuance and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Mayor Huntoon advised that Mr. Jerry Floyd had telephoned, requesting <br />a continuance of this matter to the first meeting in October. Mayor <br />Huntoon said Mr. Floyd had stated this property is now in escrow, and <br />everything should be finalized by that time. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to con- <br />tinue the Public Hearing on Appeal filed by Matt Kurilich to October <br />7, 1986. Unanimous vote. <br />Councilwoman Garcia said she would like to know if the Planning De- <br />partment has any objection to this. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera stated the Planning Commission <br />denied Mr. Kurilich's request for an extention of File Index No. C-13- <br />84, and Staff would like to see this public hearing concluded as Staff's <br />position has not changed. <br />Personnel <br />Res.
