Unanimous vote. <br />Chairperson Cisneros declared the Redevelopment Agency Public Hearing <br />closed. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-51-89. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 542 <br />- RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE <br />CITY OF COLTON APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF DISPOSITION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON AND <br />McNEILUS TRUCK AND MANUFACTURING, INC. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />('_r'nf-a <br />City Manager Benest gave an informational presentation on the City's <br />annual grants program for all City departments, which include Human <br />Services, Police, Public Works, Community Development, and Redevelop- <br />ment Agency. Mr. Benest advised the 1988-89 actual total is $2,032,182, <br />and the 1989-90 secured to date is $1,066,604. <br />Mr. Benest concluded the City will continue to agressively search out <br />grant funds. <br />Personnel Division <br />City Manager Benest referred to the Annual Human Services Report for <br />the Personnel Division of the Administrative Services Department, sum- <br />marizing the City's efforts during the year to support and further de- <br />velop employees. <br />Mr. Benest stated Colleen McCloud, Human Resources Manager, and her <br />Staff should be commended for exceptional efforts during the past year <br />in promoting employee development. <br />Mr. Benest advised this would be Colleen McCloud's last City Council <br />Meeting, as she will be leaving the City at the end of this month. <br />Mr. Benest and the City Council wished Mrs. McCloud well, and thanked <br />her for her years of service with the City. <br />Sewer Rate Increases <br />Assistant City Manager Leslie Keane introduced Ordinance No. 0-7-89 for <br />Second Reading, and presented Resolution No. R-52-89 for consideration <br />and approval regarding sewer rate increases. <br />Ms. Keane continued as Council is aware, the City of Grand Terrace conveys <br />its sewage to the City of Colton wastewater treatment plant.
