R-101-89 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE <br />OF A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON <br />NOVEMBER 7, 19892 AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF <br />SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO TO <br />CONSOLIDATE SAID SPECIAL ELECTION WITH THE <br />COUNTY CONSOLIDATED ELECTION TO BE HELD ON <br />THAT DATE PURSUANT TO SECTION 23302 OF THE <br />ELECTION CODE. <br />Mrs. Ramos then advised the City Council shall direct the City Attorney <br />to prepare an Impartial Analysis of Ordinance No. 0-9-89. <br />On Council consensus, the City Attorney was directed to prepare the Im- <br />Lo partial Analysis as outlined. <br />® Mrs. Ramos stated the City Council should now consider preparing the <br />UJ Argument for/against Ordinance No. 0-9-899 as outlined in Resolution <br />No. R-103-89, authorizing members of the City Council to prepare Argu- <br />ment. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to approve Reso- <br />lution No. R-103-89, authorizing all Members of the City Council to <br />submit a written agrument in Favor of Ordinance No. 0-9-89. Vote was <br />unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-103-89 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OF <br />ITS MEMBERS TO FILE A WRITTEN ARGUMENT REGARD- <br />ING A CITY MEASURE. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Community Facilities District No. 87-1 <br />City Manager Leslie Keane reported on establishing the fiscal year 1989- <br />90 budget and tax rate for Community Facilities District No. 87-1. Each <br />year the City Council is required to set the actual tax for the District <br />and adopt a budget for the expenditure of funds collected. Ms. Keane <br />then outlined the allocations from the proposed budget for the project. <br />Ms. Keane concluded Staff recommends the City Council approve the fiscal <br />year 1989-90 budget for Community Facilities District No. 87-1 in the <br />amount of $338,260, and approve First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-16-89. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />Staff's recommendation, pass First Reading of Ordinance No. 0-16-89 and <br />waive full reading.
