To be mailed to Southern Cali- <br />fornia Water Committee, Inc. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RRC0MMFNnATTnNR <br />Park Development Plan <br />Human Services Director Rich Holmer stated the Five -Year Park Develop- <br />ment Plan represents the City's effort to develop a comprehensive docu- <br />ment to insure the leisure, social, and recreational needs of all Colton <br />residents are met in an orderly manner. Mr. Holmer then reviewed the <br />projects that have been completed since the Plan's inception in fiscal <br />year 1986-87. <br />Mr. Holmer advised both the Parks and Recreation and Planning Commis- <br />sions have reviewed the revised Five Year Park Development Plan, approve <br />it in concept, and recommend adoption by the City Council. <br />Mr. Holmer concluded Staff recommends the City Council adopt the modi- <br />fied Five Year Park Development Plan to insure adequate park and open <br />space is available to all residents of Colton. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve Staff's <br />recommendation with regard to revised Five -Year Park Development Plan. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Budget Workshop <br />MAY 2 1989 <br />
