Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Proclamations <br />Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation declaring February, 1990, <br />as YOUTH ART MONTH. <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, ratify- <br />ing reappointment of J. Michael Burrows, Bette Cook and Hazel Olson to <br />the Historic & Scenic Preservation Commission. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rios, ratifying reap- <br />pointment of Greg Goatcher to the Utilities Commission. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Jaime Aguilera reported on the Appeal <br />filed by Ray Collier for Round Table Pizza regarding the signage and <br />logo for their building located at 1280 Washington Street, in the <br />Courtyard Shopping Center. <br />Mr. Aguilera reviewed the background material. on this matter, explain- <br />ing the events that took place up to the filing of the Appeal. <br />Mr. Aguilera stated it is evident that Round Table Pizza originally knew <br />of the sign criteria and, of their own accord, decided to comply with it <br />2 <br />
