Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Resolutions of Recognition <br />Mayor Gonzales, Councilman Rios and Councilman Lofy, respectively, read <br />in full Resolutions of Recognition honoring Francisco Acosta, Louis B. <br />Ramos, Jr., and Ida Nunez, who each received the 1989-90 Inland Empire <br />Hispanic Teacher of the Year Award from the Kiwanis Club of Greater <br />San Bernardino. Each recipient accepted the Resolution and thanked the <br />City Council. <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rios, ratifying appoint- <br />ment of Trish Ruminski to the Parks & Recreation Commission. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Street Vacations <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Deputy City Clerk Veralrud submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Public Works Director John Hutton reported on the vacation of Centre- <br />point Drive as part of the Walmart Stores project. <br />2 <br />
