S. Ward <br />& Company for Fiscal Year 1990-91. <br />(11) Claims <br />Claude Rogers vs. City of Colton. Recommend denial. <br />(12) Assessments <br />Consider Resolution fixing charge for researching and pro- <br />viding information to determine remaining balances of Assess- <br />ments, RESOLUTION NO. R-74-90. <br />(13) Parks <br />Park Development Funds Reappropriation. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to ap- <br />prove the Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Resolutions of Recognition <br />Mayor Gonzales, Councilman Rios and Councilman Lofy, respectively, read <br />in full Resolutions of Recognition honoring Francisco Acosta, Louis B. <br />Ramos, Jr., and Ida Nunez, who each received the 1989-90 Inland Empire <br />Hispanic Teacher of the Year Award from the Kiwanis Club of Greater <br />San Bernardino. Each recipient accepted the Resolution and thanked the <br />City Council. <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rios, ratifying appoint- <br />ment of Trish Ruminski to the Parks & Recreation Commission. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Street Vacations <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />Deputy City Clerk Veralrud submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Public Works Director John Hutton reported on the vacation of Centre- <br />point Drive as part of the Walmart Stores project. <br />2 <br />
