Mr. Hutton continued First City Properties, Inc., requested that the vacation of Centrepoint Drive be contingent upon the closing of escrow with Gatlin/Berger Development, Inc., and recording be done through the escrow. Mr. Hutton concluded at the conclusion of the public hearing, if there are insufficient protests, Staff would recommend approval of Resolution No. R-75-90 and the vacation of Centrepoint Drive, contingent upon the close of escrow between First City Properties, Inc., and Gatlin/Berger Development, Inc. Mr. Sotelo advised as part of the proposed reorganization of City de- partments, the Parks Division will be relocated to the Parks, Recreation and Human Services Department and report to the Director of that De- partment. Mr. Sotelo said this action is being proposed to provide a direct response to maintenance and new construction requirements for the department. Mr. Sotelo stated this is a budgeted position.
