Mr. Hutton continued First City Properties, Inc., requested that the <br />vacation of Centrepoint Drive be contingent upon the closing of escrow <br />with Gatlin/Berger Development, Inc., and recording be done through the <br />escrow. <br />Mr. Hutton concluded at the conclusion of the public hearing, if there <br />are insufficient protests, Staff would recommend approval of Resolution <br />No. R-75-90 and the vacation of Centrepoint Drive, contingent upon the <br />close of escrow between First City Properties, Inc., and Gatlin/Berger <br />Development, Inc. R-75-90 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF CENTREPOINT <br />DRIVE. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Reorganization <br />City Manager Edmund Sotelo reported on amendments to the City's Pay <br />and Classification Plan and Executive Employees' Benefits to include <br />the new position of Director of Parks, Recreation and Human Services. <br />Mr. Sotelo advised as part of the proposed reorganization of City de- <br />partments, the Parks Division will be relocated to the Parks, Recreation <br />and Human Services Department and report to the Director of that De- <br />partment. Mr. Sotelo said this action is being proposed to provide a <br />direct response to maintenance and new construction requirements for the <br />department.
