Motion carried with no opposition. <br />#5—.Revisit Electric Utility Industry Deregulation <br />Tom Clarke, Utility Director, presented a report and staff's recommendation. <br />After discussion, motion by CM Sanders, seconded by CM Cook to approve <br />conceptually staff's plan. Motion carried with no opposition. <br />#6 — Rental Housing Inspection Program <br />David Zamora, Community Development Director, presented a report and staff's <br />recommendation. <br />After discussion, motion by CM Cook, seconded by CM Sanders to approve <br />conceptually staff's plan which included the development of a task force <br />that would include the following three Councilmembers — <br />Bennett/Grimsby/ DeLaRosa and in the development of the ordinance <br />exempting HOA'S. Motion carried with no opposition. <br />#7 — Develop/Implementation Phase II Customer Service Plan <br />Dennis Morris, Human Resource Director, presented a report and staff's <br />recommendation. <br />8;42 P.M., Mayor Gaytan left the dais. <br />After discussion, motion by CM Cook, seconded by CM Chastain to <br />approve conceptually staff's plan. Motion carried with no opposition. <br />Mayor Gaytan absent. <br />#8 — I.S. Technology Task Force Action Plan <br />David Davis, Librarian, and Judy Glithero, Analyst, presented a report and staff's <br />recommendation. <br />8;47 P.M. Mayor Gaytan returned to the dais, <br />8:47 P. M. Counci/member Grimsby left the dais. <br />After discussion, motion by CM Sanders, seconded by CM Cook to approve <br />conceptually staff's plan.
