City Clerk Padilla announced that the Affidavit of Publication for the public hearing was on file in <br />the City Clerk's office and no protests or objections have been received. <br />Assistant City Manager Nuaimi presented the item for council consideration and requested <br />approval of staff's recommendation. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Jason Lee, Colton Land Investment, Distinguished Homes, acknowledged staff in the <br />development of this project and offered to answer any question if clarification needed. <br />Motion and second by CM De La RosaNzaguirre to close the public hearing, Unanimous vote. <br />Discussion continued with CM Mitchell requesting clarification from staff on escalator rates, and <br />acknowledging developer for working with the surrounding residents regarding the proposed <br />project. Finance Director DeAlwis responded. <br />Motion/second by CM Mitchell/Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil to waive full reading and pass first <br />reading of Ordinance 0-22-07. <br />Discussion continued with Council wanting clarification of funding for park maintenance and <br />operations, street improvements, signalization, and benefit to the project development.
