• Retirement of Dave Pettie — Fire Department Committee Armointments— Colton Regional Park Mayor announced the appointment of Frank Gonzales with no objection by the members present. CM Mitchell informed the board that the committee has only met twice and is hoping this council can take more control and not wait until the Board of Supervisors initiates a meeting Staff Bill Smith, Isaac Suchil, Kelly Chastain, Susan Oliva Residents: Jess Vasquez, Pilar Tabera, Ray Abril, Sarah Zamora Agencies: The Wildlands Conservancy, SBCo Regional Park Intergovernmental Appointments - SANBAG Alternate Board Member CM Toro explained that he is the alternate and is not able to fulfill this and requested an alternate be appointed from the council. CM Mitchell indicated a desire to be the alternate as he has attended several meetings. Motion/second by CM Yzaguirre/De La Rosa to appoint John Mitchell as SANBAG Alternate Boardmember. Unanimous vote. BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS: ➢ Appointments — Pursuant to MC§ Section 2.30.030 — Manner of Appointment. District 3 — CM Yzaguirre presented for ratification the appointments of: Civil Service Board — Nertha Arroyo-Vite Code Enforcement Housing Advisory & Appeals Board — Ken Koperski Historic Preservation Commission — Hope Luna Parks & Recreation Commission — Albert Grud Planning Commission — Tembi Kitchen Utilities Commission — Fabian Carballo Motion/second by CM Oliva/Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil to ratify the appointments. No opposition to the motion. AGENDA REVIEW: City Manager. City Manager Parrish presented Consent Calendar Items No. (s) 7 thru 27 for approval. Pulling Item No. 26 and schedule a workshop within the month of August; Motion/second by CM Mitchell/Suchil to approve Consent Calendar Items 7 thru 27. Unanimous vote.
