Waive Full Reading and Pass First Reading of an Ordinance Amending Municipal Code No. <br />12.24.130, Establishing Hours of Operation for Colton City Parks, ORDINANCE NO. 0-14-07. <br />Motion/second by CM Mitchell/Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil waive full reading and pass first <br />reading of Ordinance 0-14-07. Unanimous vote. <br />Mayor Chastain acknowledged Mike Trujillo, Representative from Congressman Baca, who <br />responded to correspondence sent to Congressman's Baca's office from Mayor Chastain and <br />City Manager Parrish for funding of projects in the City of Colton; Pepper Interchange and Delhi <br />Sand Fly. CM De La Rosa requested that council send a formal letter acknowledging <br />Congressman Baca's efforts. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: David Collier, Pricilla Neddleman, Robert Klick, <br />Tanya Thompson, and Kathy Davis. <br />Mayor Chastain responded to the people with the concerns on Rancho Mediterrean, she <br />explained that she would have the City Manager coordinate a meeting with several HOA <br />members, and their attorney to discuss a resolution. <br />Council suggested meeting with the residents and creation of a committee to make <br />improvements. <br />Mayor Chastain asked the City Attorney if this type of action could be taken tonights. <br />City Attorney Derleth explained that no formal action could be taken however, an ad hoc <br />meeting could be suggested to discuss. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: Chris Gerod, Art Thompson, Gary Grossich, Sara <br />Grossich, Ernie Grossich, Floyd Smith, Bob Mtichell, Ray Abril, and Vince Castro. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: COMMENTS, INTER -GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY <br />REPORTS, INFORMATION SESSION AND ACTION ITEMS: <br />• Paramedic Pediatric Fire equipment <br />• Squires Driveway -Bike Path <br />• Bike Path Project Route <br />• Acknowledged Ms. Grable for <br />Cheerleading Fundraisers <br />• Arrowhead Regional Medical Center <br />Walk for Life <br />• League Administrative Board <br />Meeting <br />• Acknowledged Police and Fire for <br />regulating 4t' of July Fireworks <br />• Birthday celebration <br />2007 JUL 17 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING .6- <br />• Acknowledged Granny not doing <br />well and encouraged all to visit <br />• Senior Dance <br />• EI Sombrero <br />• Teen Center <br />• Acknowledged new coordinators at <br />Luque/Hutton Center <br />• District 3 street safety issues <br />• Signals at Mt.
