CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />• Presentation Community Services Director Smith presented a Vision Document by <br />the Santa Ana River Trail (SART) Committee Chairperson Jimmy <br />Ramirez, and acknowledged the committee members present in the <br />audience. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />2008-2009 CDBG Proiects <br />This was the Time And Place Fixed To Consider Eligible Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) Projects For Fiscal Year 2008-2009. <br />Mayor Chastain declared the public hearing open. <br />City Clerk Padilla announced that the Affidavit of Publication for the public hearing was <br />on file in the City Clerk's office and no protests or objections have been received. <br />Assistant Public Works Director Tapia presented an overview of the process to <br />determine funding for this years project. She explained that twenty-one applicants were <br />received that were eligible for consideration and the ones outlined are being <br />recommended. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Hazel Belmont, representing the Hill Country Residential Housing for Women (sober <br />living program) requested consideration for allocation of the CDBG funds. <br />Naobi, representing Civic Circle Pre -School requested consideration for allocation of <br />the CDBG funds. <br />Abigail Rodriguez, representing GRIT Program requested consideration for allocation of <br />the CDBG funds <br />Motion/second by Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell/CM De La Rosa to close the public <br />hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Motion/second by Mayor Pro Tempore Mitchell/CM Yzaguirre to approve and adopt <br />Resolution NO. R-10-88. Unanimous vote. <br />Global Premier Development <br />This was the Time And Place Fixed To Consider The Continued Public Hearing Of <br />December 18, 2007, To Consider Approval Of A Proposed 38 -Unit, Low Income <br />Housing Project On Property Generally Located At 839 East Fairway Drive (Assessor <br />2008 FEBRUARY 19 REG CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 3 - <br />
