CITY OF COLTON <br />COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />MAY 12, 2009 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority of <br />the City of Colton was held at 5:36 p.m., on the above -given date in the Ashley <br />Furniture, Deming Conference Room, 3`d floor, 1601 Ashley Way, Colton, CA 92324 <br />with Mayor Chastain presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on May 11, 2009, <br />in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Councilmembers present were, Perez, Bennett, Oliva, Yzaguirre, De La Rosa, Toro, <br />and Mayor Chastain. Also present were, City Attorney Dean Derleth, Special Counsel <br />Grover Trask and City Clerk Gomez. <br />Meeting was facilitated by Dr. Mathis. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />The following citizens addressed the council: None <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF MAY 12, 2009. <br />Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a <br />conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the <br />following matters: <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />A. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT <br />Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957 <br />Position: Interim City Manager <br />B.
